A Proud Moment as Kreesha Publishes Her First Book
As a mother, there are many moments that leave your heart swelling with pride—first steps, first words, first day at school. But today, I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude as I share one of the most beautiful milestones in Kreesha’s journey: at just 6.5 years old, she has officially become a published author with her very own book—“Tiny Tales by Tiny Author”!
Watching Kreesha hold the printed copy in her tiny hands, eyes sparkling with excitement, brought tears to mine. This wasn’t just about publishing a book—it was about witnessing her confidence bloom, her imagination soar, and her voice take form in the most innocent yet profound way.
From a very young age, Kreesha showed a love for storytelling. Whether it was her whimsical bedtime tales or her doodles that turned into characters with magical lives, I always knew there was a storyteller within her. As an author myself, I recognized those little sparks—the way her eyes lit up when she discovered a new word, or how she’d ask questions like, “What if the moon could talk?” Her curiosity was boundless, and I felt a gentle responsibility to nurture that gift.
Our journey together was filled with laughter, learning, and lots of storytelling! I didn’t set out to make her write a book, but rather to help her enjoy the process. We turned walks into brainstorming sessions, playtime into plot twists, and quiet moments into opportunities for reflection. Slowly, her stories began to take shape—each one a unique expression of her world, told through the lens of a child who sees magic in the everyday.
As a mom and a fellow writer, my role was part guide, part cheerleader, and mostly, an attentive listener. I offered her the tools—words, structure, encouragement—but she filled them with wonder. I helped with spelling and punctuation, but the heart of every story, every character, every twist came from her vibrant little mind.
This book is more than just printed pages; it’s a celebration of creativity, courage, and the limitless power of a child’s imagination. It reminds me that children are capable of so much when we believe in them and give them space to explore and express.
To every parent reading this: never underestimate the potential of your little one. Read to them, write with them, ask them questions, and most importantly—listen. You might just find that your child has a world of stories waiting to be shared.
To Kreesha—my teeny tiny author—you have made me the proudest mother in the world. This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where your words take you next.
